Fantesteinen (the "Tramp Rock") by Kvernagrova at Skiri in the Romsdalen Valley is situated close to the old road which is well preserved and now used as a touring road. Under this rock, tramps lived in the old days. Giant rocks rumbled down from the steep mountains of the Romsdalen Valley creating a shelter. Stories tell that due to the number of people who lived here, the train made it a regular stop! The beautiful Rauma River snakes its way past these rocks down the valley. These rocks are now used for mountain climbing and bouldering. A guide to bouldering in Romsdal can be purchased through www.buldring.no
